About Us

The Business Professionals and Tradespersons Association (BPTA) is a department of the United Pentecostal Church of Jamaica (UPCJ), dedicated to unifying Apostolic businesses, professionals, and tradespersons. Its mission is to foster a community of growth and development, both spiritually and professionally, while honoring and serving the needs of the Apostolic Movement and the wider community. Through quality service, a biblical perspective, and a commitment to health, wellness, and education, the BPTA strives to provide sustainable livelihoods for its members and make a positive impact on society

Vison

The vision of the National Business Professionals and Tradespersons Association is to
bring about the unification and integration of all Apostolic Business, Professionals and
Tradespersons in an association and in so doing, share the gospel with fellow associates
and ensure growth and development of and for all.

Mission

The mission of the National Business, Professionals and Tradespersons Association is to honorably and justly serve the needs of the Apostolic Movement and the wider community through the provision of quality products and services to all our customers, providing opportunities for members and facilitating the maintenance of the biblical perspective in respect of life. In so doing, the Association will seek to initiate, coordinate and evaluate activities that will enhance health, wellness and education and provide sustainable livelihood for all members of the UPCJ.

As such the objectives are to:

  • Organize and implement seminars, luncheons and motivational sessions for the membership
  • Provide financial/management advisory services and conduct market research
  • Assist the national body with church development programmes – erection and
  • maintenance of church buildings etc.
  • Create a website directory of services being offered by the association.
  • Host expositions/trade shows displaying a range of products and services being offered.
