Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about using BPTA.

Create or sign in to your BPTA account, select Register Business, and complete the business registration information. The business may require administrative approval before it appears publicly in the directory.

The business must normally be approved and active before it appears publicly. A pending, rejected, suspended or otherwise inactive business may not appear. Also confirm that the profile has the required category and location information.

Sign in to the Business Dashboard and open the business profile or media management area. From there you can upload supported profile media according to your package and system limits.

Yes. Like, Follow and Save are personalised account features. If you are not signed in, BPTA will ask you to sign in or create an account before completing the action.

Engage Business starts a structured customer-to-business interaction. Depending on the business and requested items, this can lead to messaging, quotations, estimates, pro-forma invoices, a transaction/project, payment records and delivery.

Businesses can request sponsored advertisements for supported BPTA locations such as the Homepage, Directory, Jobs page, business-profile areas or all supported locations. Ads are subject to campaign dates, payment where applicable, approval, media requirements and availability.

Check that the campaign is active, within its start and end dates, approved for the selected placement, has valid media and meets any payment or administrative requirements. An administrator or editor may also pause an advertisement without deleting it.

Customers may be able to review businesses based on their experience. BPTA may use engagement or transaction information to support verified-review signals. Reviews may be moderated before or after publication where necessary.

Where enabled, customers can upload proof that a payment was made outside the platform. A business or authorised staff member may review and verify that proof. Uploading proof does not itself guarantee that funds have cleared.

For businesses that use the BPTA delivery module, eligible transaction items can be organised into a delivery. Delivery status may progress through stages such as assigned, picked up, out for delivery, arrived and delivered.

Approved businesses may publish vacancies through BPTA. Visitors can browse published jobs, and application features may be available depending on the vacancy and account setup.
